Dena has a lifelong passion for making people look and feel their best. Whether it's a classic style or on trend statement you want; she believes that your cut, color and style should bring out your best self. Her focus has been on bridal styling, wearable color and cuts, and tailored men's looks. 15 years in the industry has provided her with the opportunity to build a loyal following and has gained invaluable experience with different hair textures and techniques. She believes the colors you choose, plus the tools and products you have are important for developing and maintaining your unique style. With this in mind, she loves to educate her clients on how they can care for and style their own hair. As a long time resident of the Art Museum area of Philadelphia, opening Lather Hair Studio has provided a positive, welcoming space for her clients and fellow stylists. She has a way of putting you at ease in her chair and not letting you leave without a smile on your face.

Kat hasn't known her natural hair color since 2007. After graduating Pulse Beauty Academy, A Paul Mitchell School, she completed the Stylist training program at Lather Hair Studio. She enjoys utilizing her fine arts background to create custom precision cuts and fashion colors, and loves the challenge of a color correction. When not at Lather, you can find Kat in her craft studio or fostering neighborhood cats.

Starting her esthetics career working as a freelance beauty consultant and makeup artist for several cosmetic companies, Hannah fell in love with the industry. After years of fighting hormonal cystic acne and spending endless amounts of time learning how to conceal her outbreaks, she began to focus on the source of the problem: her skin. She then went to Jean Madeline Aveda Institute which would completely change the health of her own skin, as well as her clients. She has been trained in product lines such as Aveda, Dermalogica and Clarity, to name a few. She believes in treatments that are result based, education about your skin/how skin works, and a routine that is personalized for your skin's optimum health. No one persons face is the same and every client should be treated as such. Though skin care is a passion and way of life for Hannah, let's not forget how important her brow-game is as well! Hannah believes that a tamed brow can change your whole face, and every client should be a part of that process. Hannah works with her clients to keep them groomed exactly how they prefer to be, whether thats waxing your brows for the first time or cleaning up that bikini area for those summer months and vacations. Regardless of the service, Hannah's main goal is to have every client leave feeling just as beautiful on the outside as they are on the inside.

Growing up as the daughter of a stylist, she has always been captivated by the art of the beauty industry. With a background in photography, being a hairstylist gives her the opportunity to create what people see, as well as capture it. After graduating from Jean Madeline Aveda Institute she began her hair journey at Lather Hair Studio. For over a year working as a junior stylist/assistant has provided her with training in color, alongside various styling and cutting techniques. Her greatest strengths are in unique, current upstyling as well as thoughtful cuts/color for all lengths and textures.

Ashley is a stylist out of Lancaster PA who has a passion for people. She is inspired by diversity and creativity. Some of her favorite things to do in the industry include creative vivid colors and participating in special event hair and makeup. She has been in the industry for 5 years and is eager to continue education and master every part of her craft. Ashley’s goal is to help each of her clients feel good about themselves while staying true to who they are. She is excited to be a part of the Lather team and is ready for anyone who walks through the door.

I always knew I wanted to work with hair, makeup and all around wellness. Starting my journey with massage therapy and teaching yoga, it would be 14 years, before pursuing cosmetology in 2019. My goal is to help you explore your personal style while curating a comfortable and relaxed experience. Focusing in creative color and cuts, I’m motivated to continue learning and exploring new ideas and techniques through several forms of education. I want to participate in everyone’s goal to live their passions, be their authentic selfs, and have fun with ever changing styles.
